    General Surgery - near Charlotte, NC

    GENERAL SURGERY with Trauma or Vascular surgery Interest or experience – Patient base waiting. CHARLOTTE, NC suburb.
  • Join employed, well-established surgical group comprised of 2 well established surgeons.
  • Ideal candidate is general surgeon with interest in becoming Trauma Medical Director in addition to general surgery duties.
  • Expect mostly bread and butter General Surgery (80-90%) practice. 10-20% would be Trauma Director duties.
  • Vascular training is a big plus, not required. (For candidate w/ vascular experience, you can expect 60% GS, 30% VS, and 10% Trauma.)
  • Typical schedule: Monday – Friday office hours.
  • Little to no practice building - patient base is already there.
  • Vacancy due to member leaving to pursue an academic opportunity.
  • Privileges in one hospital: dedicated vascular center, daVinci, level III trauma center transitioning to level II center designation in the future.
  • Hospital Call 1:4 to 1:5.
