  • Proactive Hospital employed group. Vacancy due to retirement of a senior partner coming up soon.
  • Interventionalists in group perform cutting edge procedures. Nuclear and echo not required, but physician can do them, if desired.
  • Privileges in 1 hospital...open heart... ranked as the top cardiac hospital in Chicago.
  • Shared Call 1:5.

  • Ideal candidate will have the skillset to lead the vascular section of medical staff and perform medical staff functions.
  • Our Division Chief will be a key contributor in hospital's effort to achieve recognition as one of nation's top ten community based cardiovascular programs.
  • Ideal candidate will be an interventional cardiologist endovascular fellowship trained or strong experience in endovascular who has held leadership position/s.
  • Candidate will be the vascular leader and will collaborate well with radiology, cardiology, and vascular surgeons who are members of this group.
  • Ambitious candidate will create and direct this forward-moving center and manage the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Infrastructure already in place. Quantitative care.
  • Seeking candidate with 5-10 years vascular / endovascular experience and leadership.
  • This is also a clinical position where Physician will see patients and perform vascular interventional procedures on his patients. Closed devices.
  • Seeking balanced candidate who has leadership, clinical, and research skills.
  • Employed opportunity. Candidate will join hospital employed group.
  • Selected candidate will specialize and have experience in one of the following specialties: interventional / endovascular cardiology, with appropriate credentials, demonstrated leadership, and research experience.
  • Division Chief will lead the Vascular Services Division / Heart & Vascular Center and will direct vascular research.
  • Research and program time will be allotted for New Division Chief in his/her new role.
  • Facility conducted 128-130 trials in the last 12 months.
  • Candidate will be prepared to suggest models for comprehensive vascular center and successfully work with existing leadership to develop and implement business plan.
  • Candidate will also spear head expansion and development of the vascular service and procedure base.
  • Available resources include Research Center staff and facility, and state-of-the-art technology including: 1 Hybrid OR, Philips FD20 with Flex move; 1 Hybrid Cath Lab, Philips FD 10 with biplane; 3 Peripheral Vascular Philips FD20.
  • Candidate will receive full support from hospital and practice.
